Etra UK visit to Uganda

From Joshua Ssali

It was a great honour to host Nigel, Claire and Fedesi over to Uganda. Covid had denied us an opportunity for visits but we thank God who opened the way again for them to visit. It was a reality check situation as we discussed about the current trends about sustainability as a way to move. It’s been a while waiting due to certain issues on the ground, but it is important to practically think about it. So with the visit, we were able to brainstorm possibilities of achieving sustainability - we have adopted a 5 year plan to help us reach our goal. This we are pursuing through a full registration of Glenburnie so that we can have paying students as well which once achieved can be our number one direction to sustainability. I believe that with some other avenues like food production to supplement the food we buy will make a great difference as well.

It was awesome to receive supplies like clothes, books, play tools for sports and just the time the team spent in the school with children and teachers was lovely. Thank you for your continued support. We thank God for enabling us (Etra Uganda and Etra UK) to serve His children and people. To God be the Glory."

Wishing you every blessing in Christ.

Joshua
